Services / Cooling
The most common cooling call in the Shoals every June: the AC is running, but it is not cooling. The causes are a short list, and almost all of them are fixable in one visit — a clogged filter choking airflow, a coil frozen solid, a refrigerant leak, a duct pulling hot attic air into the system, or a failed capacitor that left the outdoor unit dead while the fan inside kept running.

This page walks through what each pattern looks like from your living room so you can tell us what you see — the more you can describe, the faster the fix.
In river-adjacent neighborhoods — Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and the Florence waterfront especially — high humidity loads the coil harder than the temperature alone suggests. Systems here fail 'not cooling' before they fail 'not running.'
Call, describe the symptom, and we'll tell you what the visit looks like.
